Keep the thermometer clean
Do not use a strong jet of water to clean the thermometer, or leave it immersed in water for an extended period of time.
Wipe the thermometer with a soft, clean cloth.
If you use alcohol to wash the thermometer, make sure it is not in contact with the indicator section.
For stubborn stains, wipe the thermometer with a solution of water or a neutral detergent and a cloth that is thoroughly moistened with a squeeze. I wipe it with a soft dry cloth and finish it.
To prevent damage to the thermometer, observe the following:
Do not wash the thermometer using strong solvents such as benzene, thinner, or gasoline.
The thermometer is not water resistant. Do not allow water or other liquids to enter the unit.
Do not soak the sensing part in alcohol for a long time or try to sterilize it using water (50 ℃ (122 ℉) or more.
Do not clean the thermometer using ultrasonic cleaning.
Store the thermometer in the storage case.
Do not store the thermometer in the following types of locations: This can damage the thermometer.
Wet place.
The place of what is exposed to high heat and humidity or direct sunlight. A region close to a heating system, dusty location, or an environment with high salinity concentrations in the air.
A place where units are subjected to inclination, shock or vibration.
A drug storage location or region where corrosive gases exist.
